What to expect in a session
Consultations
In your first consult we will take a full case history in order to better understand and locate the cause of your pain. We will then do a series of orthopaedic and neurological tests as well as examine your posture, gait and movement of your joints. Once your examination is complete we will discuss the results with you and come up with the best treatment plan for you.
Further investigative studies
If required, further investigative studies, such as ultrasound, x-ray or a blood work up, can be done. If we feel that chiropractic treatment is not likely to help you, you will be referred to the correct medical professional for further assessment.
Chiropractic treatment techniques
At Your Family Chiropractor we offer a variety of different treatment techniques. Chiropractic treatment consists of spinal manipulations or adjustments in order to ensure the correct functioning and alignment of your spine as well as different soft tissue techniques to treat surrounding muscle or ligament injury.
