Headaches
Headaches are most commonly caused by tension in your upper back, shoulders and neck muscles. Headaches can be debilitating and can last between a few hours to several days and be intermittent for weeks.
Headache symptoms you may feel are:
Deep pressure at the back of your head.
Pain behind your eye or on your temples.
Pain that becomes worse after sitting for prolonged periods of time.
Vice-like pressure around your head.
Throbbing pain at the top of your head.
Deep pressure at the back of your head.
There are many contributing factors to what exactly causes tension in the upper back and neck which results in a headache. Some causes of headaches are:
Incorrect breathing patterns which may have resulted from stress.
Sitting for prolonged periods of time
Incorrect sleeping position/ sleeping with the wrong pillow.
